The company Norm built has garnered an impressive list of international clients from commercial, retail & residential based properties. His hands-on approach & unwavering dedication to producing value engineered products & exceeding the clients expectation, has been his recipe for success. With the dynamic changes taking place in the lighting industry, Norm is poised and ready to take his company forward & help guide his incredible team to even greater opportunities.

It is a proud fact that Annette, who has a background steeped in tax and financial management, was the first employee that Dasal sought out to hire. After 18+ years in the lighting industry, she approaches her day to day tasks with a high level of understanding and great pride. Annette also takes the lead role in the Human Resources department. With her dynamic personality & exceptional leadership qualities, Annette plays a vital role as a team leader to the Dasal family.

Fresh out of High School, Eric applied for the production/assembly position posted by Dasal. That was 8 years ago & since then, this South African native has continued to conquer any challenges set before him. Working his way from Production to Shipping, then from Customer Service and website development to his current position of Sales Manager for Dasal, is something we are all proud of. Standing 6’6" tall, Eric easily oversees the sales department & has an unwavering dedication to building strong relationships both inside the Dasal office as well as with his many friends and collegues in the lighting industry. Eric continues to apply his sense of style & artistic abilities to everything he does. 

Brad has been in the lighting industry for over 30 years. As a professional lighting designer, Brad led the success of many challenging projects. Switching to lighting manufacturing in 2001, Brad has stayed close to the leading edge of the LED revolution. Brad continues to enjoy the current opportunities to promote excellence in design and manufactured solutions that integrate with architecture.

Joining Dasal in early 2010, Christine has 15 years of customer service experience from the likes of such places as the Vancouver Canucks & Peerless Clothing to name a few. Her schooling includes Business Administration, a Secretarial Certificate and Accounting, however dealing with the public on the customer service front lines is where Christine likes it best. Every clients request is met with Christine's can-do attitude & careful attention to detail. Her amazing upbeat personality makes Christine a great addition to the Dasal family.

JoAnne became the newest member to the Dasal customer service family. Her experiences range from 6 years in customer service & production planning in the Ontario Automotive plastics industry to another 8 years with a local Aluminum Extruding manufacturer. Her commitment to superior customer satisfaction is evident in how JoAnne manages the delicate balance between the production of product and getting the product to the client. Among the many passions in her life, her true love is to her husband and 2 adoring sons. Many of JoAnne's off hours are spent cheering on her race horses at the track in Vancouver.?

As a Douglas College graduate, Leah joined Dasal in 2007 as an accounting technician. As an assistant to the controller, Leah is in charge of the Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable. Her role at Dasal has evolved over the years to now include keeping a watchful eye on our Energy efficiency programs, fun committee & many other responsibilities as well. With a never ending supply of enthusiasm, Leah is always willing to assist in any of the front office duties. Leah's friendly voice and demeanor is usually the first you will hear when you call Dasal. ?

Rejoining the Dasal team after a 2 year hiatus, Dave's return is welcomed with open arms. His previous 3 years with Dasal gave Dave an understanding of the Dasal product range, customer service division & overall operations. He applies his creative flair to many of his day to day activities, which include web site management, media design, social media coordinator and assistant to all team members in the customer service department. His off work hours are spent working on his passion for art & woodworking as well as being a great father to his kids. 

Originating from a small town of 400 million in China, Henry has roots steeped in the tradition of lighting. After working for a few years learning the lighting industry on the production benches at Dasal, Henry turned his focus to graduate with a Bachelors of Engineering major in manufacturing systems from the University of Toronto. Upon completion of the 4 year program, Henry returned to Dasal to put his schooling & computer skills to great use, turning fixture concept, sometimes from an idea on a napkin, to a quality designed product worthy of the Dasal name. With an ever growing understanding of the nuances to LED lighting, Henry helps lead the way at Dasal to building a better and more energy efficient line of lighting products.

20 years of lighting experience and technical knowledge are just a few of the accolades that Russ carries on his resume & applies daily to his work at Dasal. Russ's project experience ranges from the design of exterior architectural luminaires to decorative interior luminaries. He prides himself in his ability to engineer high quality products in the most efficient way possible. Russ has a LC designation (Lighting Certified) by the NCQLP (National Council on Qualifications for Lighting Professions) In his leisure time Russ can be found boating in Pitt lake or enjoying the outdoors at his recreational property in the Cariboo.

Jai brings to Dasal over 15 years of international manufacturing experience. As a conductor to a symphony, everything Dasal produces needs to pass by Jai & his production team. The many aspects of Jai's daily routine includes regular stock item PO's , managing the production schedule, the Painting department & maintains Dasal's consistant quality control. Jai also regularly meets with Dasal's wide range of vendors to ensure consistency & quality in all aspects. Customer requirements and satisfaction is always given top priority.

Recently celebrating his 5 year mark, Darran Lawrence Buick (the first), single handedly manages both the Shipping & Receiving departments at Dasal. Having worked his way through the ranks of the production floor to shipping, gives Darran a strong knowledge base to all the Dasal product. When Darran's dedicated work day is done, this seemingly quite, enhancement free, natural born athlete enjoys many sporting activities available here on the West Coast.
