"Corrected Cold Phosphor Technology" tunes the separated
phosphor mix to counter any differences in wavelengths of the
LEDs in the modules. This ensures a perfectly uniform, perfectly
natural (centred on Black Body Locus) light that is produced to
an industry best sustained color point stability (to 1 x 2 MacAdam
ellipses, part to part).
Sustainability
Sustainable lighting to Xicato, means that light sources should be
efficient, but importantly also be serviceable at end of life, be RohS
compliant, have a long life (both in terms of color maintenance and
lumen maintenance) and possess a no compromise light quality.
Payback periods are typically 2 to 3 years, a prime independently
assessed example being the Chicago Field Museum, Illinois,
installations 2.4 year payback as measured and documented by
the United States Department of Energy in their November 2010
Gateway report.
Further, Xicato's LED modules were selected as one of BuildingGreen's Top-10
products of the year by the editors of Environmental Building News and GreenSpec.
